Pleasantly surprised by in person color difference

Surprisingly close - here is a pick of my 2021 Outer Banks in, I think it was called, "Rapid Red".
Of course, cameras and displays alter always a bit.

Yea it seems somewhat orange depending on the light for red pepper

I’ve had beige, gray, multiple silver, taupe, and went hog wild when I picked my one year only Rapid Red and I love it. Looks awesome just washed in the sun and covered in salt in the winter.

Saw a full size in pepper red. Has a different look to it, and sky's were pretty dusky grey. Looked fine. Have to say I prefer the hard top of the sport vs the current soft top solutions on the full size. I know it offers the open air adventure...just not my thing.

I like how the colours change depending on the light. I was hoping that there would be a green option so I got the next best thing - cactus grey. But, there's a big bronco in my neighborhood that's cactus grey and I don't like it as much.

The Velocity Blue is a bit more blue, in person. On a side note, I parked next to the big guy earlier today.
You can’t see it from this picture, but it’s a Black Diamond.

I really like to drive around in a clean car. I have a beautiful, heated 4 car garage attached to my house. Unfortunately, the garage is over 30 years old, and the concrete floor shows it. I can leave my clean car parked for 2 or 3 days, and it's covered in dust. In the past white was my color of choice. For my OBX I chose Cactus Gray. My all-time favorite would be black, but it's way too much work to keep clean.

I have a hot pepper red on order and hadnt seen it in person until today. I am really surprised at how much more burnt orange it is than red. Most of the pics I've seen looked more red. Very unique color. I love it!

I also saw the Area 51 in person and I am still baffled as to why it's so popular. Very blah color me.

I agree with you on both statements. The hot pepper red is a great color and I would have ordered it, but my wife already has a rapid red Explorer. She said no to another red car at the same time. Area 51 is an unattractive color to me as well.
