In my appendix holster on me, or in said holster in the glove box if I have to pop in somewhere sensitive. Sometimes I throw the appendix rig in the rear under-seat storage compartment. But never permanently mounted/stored for more than a day. This car looks too nice so break ins are too likely in my area.

On my body. In the event it is needed, I want immediate access and total control.

I have a fingerprint activated safe in my 350Z in the rear storage compartment. It has a cable which I have attached to the body with some secure screws in one of the rear compartments. It is large enough to store one compact firearm in its holster with a couple of magazines. I do a couple of week-long camping trips and store firearms there during the day. These safes would likely fit underneath the seat on the BS and you could route the cable around the seat. You can get these for under $100 and they are approved for use in California.

I have not installed anything in the BS yet. I have the Outer Bank which does not have the compartment underneath the rear seat. If I did, I would mount a safe there. If your goal is for ready access, I would use one of the magnetic mounts underneath the console. Those would work much better than an IWB holster while sitting in your BS.

On me in a Galco King Tuk 2. I suppose I could put a magnet on the console for extended road trips while carrying but haven't gotten to it yet.

I purchased the console vault from https://www.consolevault.com/Ford-Bronco-Sport-Center-Console-Safe-2021-2024_p_226.html?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI19eXtKrOhAMVHYlaBR1U6AYSEAAYASAAEgKQM_D_BwE. It's not for quick access but for safer storage of a firearm, etc. In CT if someone breaks into your car and steals your firearm you will be charged if the firearm is not stored in some sort of locked container. It's a really stupid law where the victim is charged when someone steals from him.

In any case I keep the firearm on my body and only store it in the console vault if I'm going into a "no firearms zone".

Here in the DPRMD if they steal it you get nailed hard as hell but the criminal only gets a misdemeanor.
