Order confirmation/build date question

We ordered our Bronco Sport Outer Banks May 13th. I have been told that you should receive a confirmation email 1-2 days after ordering. is this correct. It is not May 24 and no email or other correspondence has been received. Should I be calling my dealership? We were told when we ordered that we can expect delivery in 16 weeks. Now they say 16-18weeks. I know we are close to the wire as I have heard that no new orders were taken last May 15th. I’m really hoping our dealership got our order in on time! How do they know this, (re:16-18week delivery) and we haven’t even received a confirmation of our order yet? Does this seem strange. Please advise.

Hi, I see that you are in Ontario, Canada, and so am I. I have been a Ford customer for 30 + years and ordered many vehicles over that time period. I have never received any information directly from Ford Canada regarding a vehicle I have ordered through my local Dealer. Any and all information on my order comes from my Ford Dealer. I believe that you won’t receive anything from Ford directly either so my advice would be to contact your dealer that you placed your order with and ask for updates on your build! Ford of Canada is totally separate from Ford USA.

Thank you ? I think it’s just the waiting that is a challenge. Especially when you drive an 11 year old vehicle. I just don’t want to get stuck repairing something I will soon trade.
