The ride will be a bit more firm given your new setup. It will take time for the lift to settle in. Tire pressure could adjust down slightly 34/35. Give it time. But if it seems REALLY off then a cross check of the lift install may be advisable.
It actually changed to this today. I haven’t measured manually, so not sure if the pressure actually changed or if the app just isn’t that accurate.

The shop told me to come back after 1000 miles (I think it was for a wheel realignment but don’t totally remember, I’m a bit of a rookie with this stuff). I’m going to ask them to take a closer look when I bring it in for that.

Tires definitely are stiffer and will contribute, but a loud noise while hitting the bump isn’t the tires.
If you're getting a loud noise going over bumps, either you lift kit didn't come with a hole in the center of the front spacer that allows the front strut freedom of movement going over bumps (then the noise is the strut banging into the spacer).

The other (likelier) option is that something hasn't been torqued correctly. I would make the shop do a torque check on your hardware, something is probably loose.

I have a lift and larger tires, the only time I've heard noise going over bumps (and quiet when it's smooth) is when something has been loose. I wouldn't wait 1000 miles to make sure everything is tight, 50 miles is when you should be checking everything is still tight- including your lug nuts.

Looks like you have the proper inflation on your tires- 33 is the proper cold inflation. I try to have mine matched whenever possible.

It came out to about $2000 total.

- $399 for the lift kit
- $215 per tire
- $150 for a wheel alignment
- $630 for labor
Thanks man! Appreciate that. Not too bad of a price overall.

Hi! I purchased a 2024 Big Bend a few months ago. This week I had a 1.5” ReadyLift kit installed along with Falken Wildpeak AT4W 245/65R17 tires.

The vehicle looks great, but the ride is super harsh any time I hit a bump or pothole. I really only notice it when I’m driving slowly, but it makes a super loud noise and creates an unpleasant up+down. I never experienced this prior to the lift and tires.

Has anyone else experienced the same thing after making similar upgrades? Is this to be expected or should I say something to the shop that did the installations?

Thanks!

UPDATE: I took it back in today and they told me a sway bar was loose. At least from what I could tell on the drive home, it sounds and feels back to normal now. Thanks for all the responses!
