I have a '23 OBX (1.5) with 7300 miles on it. I use Mobil 1 5W-20 full synthetic in it. It's time for me to change the oil again. I sent my wife to the store to get my oil, and she got Mobil 1 5W-20 High Mileage oil by mistake. Can I just use it this time without any ill effects on the motor?

As long as the bottle is marked as meeting the API SN standard you have no worries.

If the store isn't that far, just return the oil and get what you've been using, doesn't seem like a big deal.

High mileage oils usually have the effect to soften and or swell seals - yet they are still meeting current specifications. I suggest you give Mobil lubricants hot line a call to discuss.
