Picked up a new RV today. Made it home fine after about 300 miles. So here are some answers and information. This aliner Ranger 10 B was 1399lbs, 202lbs hitch weight. As equipped, the one was $23k. My Base BS has 1.5L 3cyl. It pulled fine at 75mph on the freeway and accelerated very good. Shifted more than I would like but not more than expected, on the overpasses and hills etc. RV has 10" electric brakes and I would not pull it with out them. I installed the hitch from etrailer. I installed the trailer light wiring from etrailer. I installed the Tekonsha P3 brake controller. Don't know if I would tackle the Rockies with it... Gas mileage dropped into the upper teens, but it did run most of the time in high gear. I tried sport mode but did not like the long time in lower gears. Both the BS and the RV are keepers. Dont be 'skeered', go for it!
