Does anyone have info on the missing under body splash shield panel on the right side, passenger, why is it missing and how to get one, if availible, can't find a part #, I can see on their exploded parts veiw but no part #. I can't seem to find it on the Ford Parts site. For some unknown reason Ford deemed it unnecessary, they put it on the left but left it off the right side. I think it would help to reduce noise and protect it from rocks or debris from hitting the under body. Why Ford, Why? Kinda the same with the engine cover and right side under dash panel, what else is missing?

It doesn’t come with one on the BL. There’s a bunch of forums on the parts that are missing.

The Badlands never had it on that side. So its not missing or removed the Badlands never had it on the one side.

This topic has been beat to death, however the other threads do not fully explain this: ITS NOT THAT ITS MISSING, IT LITERALLY DOES NOT FIT!!.

I ordered one myself and learned the hard way that the piece does not attach/fit to the front wheel well like it should, and in the rear it does not fit over/around the rear skid on the BL model. NO CLUE why Ford didn't make one to fit, makes no sense.

Thanks for the info.. that saves me from ordering one myself. I've watched other You Tube videos that show the underside of other model vehicles, not Fords, and have seen that most all that have the under body panels for both sides. Just thought it was strange they didn't include it on the BS BL, looks unfinished.

I agree it does look unfinished. And the panels I'm sure help with road noise and protect the undercarriage from debris from the front tires....

I could of trimmed the rear piece away from the rear skid plate and it would of still attached and fit/stayed put....its just that the front of the panel is about 3" short from the front wheel well, so there is no way to attach it in the front. If you look, the drivers side also attaches to the front wheel well liner. So my concern is that it would catch air while driving, so it took it back to the dealer. I was pissed because it literally took 6 weeks to come in after I ordered it.

I know these items may seem petty to some but when you pay as much as we do for these vehicles they could finish them. Things like the engine cover, Right side under dash panel, right side under body panel and personal favorite the lack of the power tilting seat cushion. Oh well guess I just gotta suck it up and learn to live with less, pay more and love it, Wow that sounds familiar.
