Just had recall and now I have no heat

Hello everyone-

just had ford come out to my house and fix the recall for the fuel injector yesterday. Now today, heat doesn't work. I don't know anything about cars or car repairs so I don't know if there is a correlation, but was wondering if anyone knew if that is something that could've been damaged while the recall was being fixed or is this a completely separate issue? Thanks.

Not sure there could be much correlation, but you never know if something got knocked loose while they were doing the repair. When I had heat go out on the explorer though it was completely parts related to just the heater. I’d just contact your dealer again & see, I’m assuming you’re still under warranty.

Check your coolant immediately. If it is out do not drive the vehicle or you will trash it. If out you are victim of leaking water pump.
