That is correct. All PTU's should be serviced every 30K. The first fluid change is the worst because of the break in period. So yes, they are serviceable and so is the transmission, and trans should be done every 30K miles. Older PTUs were non-serviceable, at least until they grenaded lol they use regular gear oil.
