I hate the white letters!

The letters that I purchased leave a white outline around them and I've decided that they need to go. I'm going to Plasti DIp them instead.

Agree I did the vinyl overlay, and I am just waiting for the OEM black letters to go on sale (already replaced the rear) as the fronts requires removal of the grill to replace

was this hard to do? tools and chemicals used?
I just replaced my daughters letters with black Ford OEM letters. Use a piece of nylon (tough) tread saw behind the letters, peel off the black sticky foam, clean any residue with alcohol. Very easy. I would wear gloves when you are doing the thread. If you are replacing them use some blue tape to reference where the letters were originally located before you take them off.

Saw a yellow BS today in Port Aransas, TX with red letters, it looked good !
