Just wondering if anyone has heard or tried Hercules Terra Trac Cross-V tires. I have just over 36k miles on my 22 Big Bend and the original tires are pretty worn down. Mostly highway driving, but doing the "penny test", its time to change tires.

The tire shop near me spoke highly of these tires and the price for a set of 4 was very enticing. Of course, when I mentioned the Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails, they recommended that one but it's almost a $350 price difference. I dont mind spending more on a better tire, but I also know that I won't be going off-roading or doing any trails in my BS, just regular highway/city driving.

From what I've read, Hercules brand seems to be pretty good, just don't see too many reviews on them while the Wildpeaks are pretty much the go-to for most Bronco Sport aftermarket tires.

Would love to hear anyone's reviews or thoughts on Hercules tires.

Thanks!

I don't have any personal experience with them, but from what I can find with a brief Google search they appear to be a quality product. The 70K tread life warranty and 45-day exchange program increases the likelihood of overall satisfaction.

If it were me I would do a bit more research into why these are not carried by major retailers. Discount tire is a site sponsor; perhaps you can start a dialog with them.

Unfortunately we do not sale the Hercules tire. Like most private label tires, they are typically more affordable. We also carry private label tires like our Pathfinder A/T. The Falken Wildpeak is a highly recommended tire by many forum members though. :like:

Well, in the end, I ended up going with the Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails. It was more expensive but the reviews and ratings of the Wildpeaks were great and I did not want make price the determining factor for tires for a vehicle that I'm going to drive a lot.

The drive back with the Wildpeaks was great and felt very solid and they really make the Bronco Sport look more aggressive. Definitely happy with them. I did notice that they were over inflated so I need to bring them to the proper psi.
