Hello from VA but heading to CA

Hi everyone. I bought a Big Bend at the Richmond Ford West in Virginia. I flew in from Los Angeles to help move my wife back who got new orders closer to home.

She is serving in the U.S. Navy while I serve in Cali at a local Law Enforcement. So we decided to buy a Bronco to move back.. We picked it up on Monday the 18th.

We are currently in Tennessee and thought I should share my experience driving across the country.

Hey yall
Just wanted to let you know we made it back a few days ago. Clocked in at 3,056 miles and went through that snowstorm in flagstaff az.

Soon I'll do some updates like tires and lift. I just ordered those bronco mats that will be coming in a by Monday.

How was the northern Arizona snow in the Bronco?

It handled well. Im from Los Angeles so I don't drive in snow much. I was a lil worried at first but after 10min I started to get confidence. Then I started following a f150 that seem to know how to drive in the snow. I followed him with the slippery goat mode on and had no problem keeping up with him and passing cars doing 50pmh.

At one point there was no visibility and we were at 15mph and we kept going. Then a elk crossed the road and I was able to slow the bronco with out it sliding (im sure it was the ?-M).

I also drove on unpowed parking lots and the bronco had no problem rolling through. My bronco has the continental procontact tires. Looking to get A/T tires soon.

I'm actually on my way for some more snow in Wrightwood, CA.
