We are bypassing on this idea for this year.
We got a hell of a snowstorm, and ended up having to spend $800 to rent a Kubota to clear out the area we have 130 taps in. Took us three hours to clean that area out. Dad said it would’ve taken another two hours to get to the spot I planned on collecting from. Wasn’t worth it for 30 taps.
But once we got in, we got over 450 gallons of sap.
