This thread collects non-obvious FordPass App “tricks”.
Here is mine:
Ability to force FordPass App updates to updatable vehicle stats (e.g. Tire Pressure).
EDITED 4-17-2025: FordPass App 5.17.0 (at least on iPhone) provides the ability to “Swipe down from the top of the vehicle homepage to manually update your vehicle's data” so the trick below is obsolete:
FordPass App v5.0.0 through at least v5.16.0 (iPhone) lost the ability to display current vehicle stats by swiping from the top of the screen down. Sometimes vehicle stats displayed by FordPass App are the values last known to the App when the vehicle was shut off and may not reflect current values.
The trick is to initiate an action that forces FordPass App to update vehicle stats. An easy action is to press the Lock button on the main screen which locks the doors and will cause the vehicle stats to update to current. Give it a try!
Tire Pressure is found on the Service tab under Vehicle Health.
What FordPass App tricks can you share?
