Ford vs Yakima Crossbars?

Is there any advantage to the Yakima over the Ford crossbars? Most likely I will choose Yakima accessories to mount so I am thinking of getting the Yakima crossbars. Ford's are quite a bit cheaper but perhaps in the long run the Yakima will be a better choice.

Any thoughts?

I've always use Yakima but then I use my racks. They're not just for looks. I tend to put a lot of stuff up there. My current Yak boat rack will transfer over with no changes when my BS finally arrives.

I would suggest going with Yakima, soley because there is an option to add a locking solenoid. The factory ones, which are just Yakima's with generic end caps, don't have an option to add a lock.
