Well things were going in the right direction, but not so much now. The repairs are being done, which is great. However the person who I was dealing with at Ford was replaced, and this new person isn't responding to calls or emails, and that worry's me. I was promised an extended warranty, and compensation for lost time at work, however now I am starting to worry that was all talk. We shall see.

Five Fords, Two Bought New.
Never a single complaint with a Ford Dealer, dealt with three.
Drove three of em’ like I stole em’
Now the Op with A New vehicle, only two Issues.
And he gets crapped on by what ? Two dealers ?
I find this a little hard to believe.
I got hit by lightening once, well three times but we’re only talking about Getting hit at 80 mph on the Florida Turnpike.
Pretty much needed new everything electric.
The $8,500 repair estimate did not Total this Bought USED XLT LB Transit Connect Wagon.
Took Eleven weeks.
I drove for a living so Each Monday I’d pick up another Demo. 2,500 miles later or the next Monday I’d come back and get another.
Lightening is a road hazard so my Auto Insurance covered the Final bill. It was 7,800 and my deductible was $250.
Ford fixed it perfectly.
I drove it for two more years.
And I got them to NOT fix the small .177 caliber hole in the back corner of the roof made by the strike. It had the most beautiful color rings around the exit point. I used clear expoxy to keep water out.
Asphalt and bits of concrete from the road was embedded up inside the rear shock beneath the hole in the roof.
My point to this tall tale ?
Ford has always treated me better than any other car makers dealers.
,
Ok I’m done :’p

Wish I could say I had that luck. Fact is I have emails and documentation of all of this. If you want to see for yourself, call Western Slope Ford (970) 243-0843 and try and make an appointment. Also what do you mean I get crapped on? I said one of the dealers was good, its just an hour and a half away. Thanks for your little story, but ultimately it doesn't contribute much. I have several messages from people saying they have been offered extended warranties and ford doesn't follow through. Also "only two issues" was a bad windshield and a powertrain failure. Its not like its just a bad internal light, or a rip in a seat.

Update:

So after some small issues, the Bronco is repaired. Ford gave me an extended warranty for my troubles. going to pick it up today and will see how things go from here. Glad to have it back, still mildly nervous but I'm sure it will fade with time. Still very unhappy with my local dealer and that I had to go to one an hour and a half away for good service, but they are a good crew. Even gave me the light up cup holders from the Escape since they were in the dash.

That's awesome! I was a little disappointed when I noticed there was no ambient lighting like there was in the Ford Maverick. Wonder if I can get my dealer to install that for me. The extended warranty is def worth it long term. My extended warranty has saved my bacon a few times and saving me loads of money.

Apparently installing it isn't too bad, and the holder is only 23 bucks. Makes me wonder why they don't just come with it >_>.

Probably so we can spend more ?. When I get my BS, I already have a few minor mods I plan to make sure are installed. Engine Cover, hood insulation and passenger side panel to name a few lol.
