Ford pass account

Anybody else have difficulty setting up Ford pass account? It keeps asking me to reset my password telling me that it’s sending me an email verification code, but I’ve yet to receive any emails. I’m trying to set up a routine maintenance appointment with downtown Ford, Toronto but I just can’t seem to get through.

Have you checked to make sure you didn’t have a typo in your email address that you entered while setting up the Ford Pass account?

Anybody else have difficulty setting up Ford pass account? It keeps asking me to reset my password telling me that it’s sending me an email verification code, but I’ve yet to receive any emails. I’m trying to set up a routine maintenance appointment with downtown Ford, Toronto but I just can’t seem to get through.

The brute force method which always works:

1. Delete your FordPass App Account (this is in the FordPass App under Account Information at the very bottom).

2. Delete the FordPass App from your phone including all of the data used by the FordPass App.

3. Make sure your phone is running the latest software and upgrade the phone software if needed.

4. Go to the App Store for your phone and download the current FordPass App.

5. Contact your downtown Ford, Toronto dealership service department and make sure the email you want to use is associated with your account and VIN at the dealership (Have the dealership create an entry for you with your VIN, your phone # and email with the dealership if that is not already on file at the dealership).

While you are on the phone with the dealership, book that service appointment with them (next time you can try the method via using the FordPass App but to be honest I always setup appointments over the phone with the dealership).

6. Launch the FordPass App and set up your account information in the FordPass App. This likely will require verification of your email and or your phone #.

If the above does not work, send a private message with details including your VIN etc. to @Ford Motor Company (without the @ sign in the private message).
