I thought I turned this off but the last few times I started it a pop up came up saying Ford is collecting my data.

I do not want Ford to collect my data. Would appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to turn it off and make it stay off. The pop up says it is under services. I looked but did not find it.

Sorry they don't I do not do all the bullshit social media. I suggest you read the second note on page 12 of the manual.

Also thanks for the informative reply now go back to your office at Ford.

Trust me, they collect your data one way or the other. Even if you believe "data collection" is off, your vehicles ECM and related SDR's are still recording data that is either being actively transmitted or available for a warranted or unwarranted download depending on the need. It's the nature of the beast with today's technology, good or bad. Even if you don't Facepage or Snap Tok, your car still let's folks know what you're doing!

Any California residents reading this can submit a CCPA access request to learn what data Ford has on you. This casts a wide net -- not just data collected from your vehicle -- but could nonetheless be interesting.

So true and you would be a fool to think otherwise. That is the world we live in today no privacy and Ford will sell all your information as it pleases.
That being said if they want the data then they can download it when its in for service. It does not have navigation so why would I even want the GPS on?
Joking here but maybe I can put a tinfoil hat on my gps antenna :) I have a 2013 F150 FX2 and the gps antenna went out on it which killed the navigation and satellite radio. I did replace it but for a while there was no tracking and if it wasn't for the navigation it would still be broke.
