Hi,

Has anyone succeeded in getting these connectors off? I got to the stage (see photo) where the connecter levers are pulled upward. But when I try to "pull the connector upward" as it says in the manual, it seems that it doesn't want to come off. I've been applying enough pressure that I feel would work but any more and I'm worried I'll break something.

Not sure why Ford didn't just make this a simple box that can be opened from the top, but oh well. Any thoughts on how to do this?

Thanks,

B

Push the end clipand pull up. You should see which way they come off as you slowly pull the latch back

Make sure the levers are all the way open, they will sort of start to lift the connector when they are fully open.

Thanks for the reply. I've gotten to the part where the latches come back (see original pic I posted). It just seems like the actual connectors don't want to come off the way the manual says they should. I think the next time I'm at the dealership I'll ask them to show me how they do it.
