Has anybody found a good looking, solid flag mount on the BS yet? I plan on taking mine on the Dunes, but as it will be a desert sand BL I want to make sure it is visible when I get buried:shock:

Used a hitch mount, hated how the whip struck the hatch. Also... rear mount.

Suction mount to window. Didn't trust it to stay and also, still to rear.

I eventually got a piece of stock and made a plate that goes on a roof rail. Not completely forward, but much more so. Also very high up this way and still secure.

Clamping it onto your roof rack is probably the best option. Highest point on the vehicle, and where I'd go because I wouldn't want to look at the thing off the fender or tow hitch. If you have crossbars, I'd throw a T-slot in and screw down a mount to it.

Do you want a permanent mount, or do you plan to remove it when you're not out on the dunes? A good temp solution is a window mount flag. This style clips over the top of an open window. If you don't like the idea of sacrificing a side window you can clip it on your liftgate window.

You can see what they look like on @Tigger's Heritage Edition in this video of him climbing a short hill.
