DRLs don't seem to work

My Badlands seems to have the headlights on at all times. Hard to see the screens as they are in night mode vice day mode. Every once in a while the screens will brighten up but then go back dark. I've played with the light switch but the dash light always says the lights are on. Any ideas???

Anything on the dash blocking or partially blocking the sensor?

Did you check the settings for the DLR. I leave DLR ON and leave my light switch on Auto.

nothing on the dash; checked and the DRL setting was on. Turned it to off and then back to on; we'll see.....
