HOORAY! My dealer just called to tell me my Big Bend has finally arrived! Unfortunately I am out of town at the moment and won't be able to pick it up until Monday. Oh well, what's another couple of days?

Hey Don, no worries. I'm sure someone here on the forum would be more than willing to go pick it up for you. Hell, I'd even do some of the break-in for you!

I have empathy for all. I stepped into a BS by luck. I saw one being unloaded at my local dealer. Contacted a sales rep I know. The people pulled out of buying it. I went next day and got it. Please don’t hate the player. Hate the game.

I drove out of the service department and saw the first one in the county. It was Black, It was a Base model,
It was December 2020,
It had been prepped and on the lot for a few hours.
It was mine Two hours Later,
It had all its parts.
For the life of me I cannot fathom doing a special order in this economic craziness, waiting months and months then getting a vehicle that’s missing parts and had been cooked in the Mexican desert for a summer. And not getting compensated for the missing parts or at least promissory documents for future installation. And just as important a depreciation refund of some kind like I dunno,
5,000 rewards points or something.
If I don’t like a color I will pass.
If I want to see one dressed a certain way I’ll wait.
Of course that won’t work with the BS as there is no inventory sitting on lots.
I’ve looked at two of the higher trim models now in person.
I could trade in my base and get one but just don’t need the toys.
I cannot imagine having the patience to special order and wait as long as many have.
Take a bow special order people.
