Crossbars for kayak racks…. Bronco sport 22

Hello everyone!

im looking for a crossbar to buy to go with the Thule mounted folding kayak carrier.

the standard size for the Thule crossbar on Amazon says ‘50 and I just wanted to make sure that fits my 22’ Bronco Sport before pulling the trigger.

anyone know anything about this?

I’ve got the Evo 53’’ on mine. Some people are using the 60’’. Depends on how much room you want/need up there.

Just curious, with your ‘53 set up do you have 2 kayaks? Or only one? I’m looking to be able to carry 2 single person kayaks.

I don’t carry my kayaks on the roof. I have a trailer for them as they are Hobie Outback’s and together are well above the 100lb limit with the moonroof. Also hard to get up there regardless. If I had J cradles in theory I would easily fit both.
