So I tried it. As previously mentioned, I am 6'2" and I was in fact able to get the seat all the way up. At that point I was staring through the top 4" of the windshield - I would never see stop lights while sitting at that height except at a distance. It was really awkward.

If your seat is positioned so your line of sight is near the middle of the windshield vertically, then seeing gauges shouldn't be a problem.

At least you have analog gauges for temp and fuel. Badlands has a series of bars. Similar to the tach in the full size. Have to actually look at it to read it.
Outer Banks has bars also, but I've gotten to where I can read it as fast as an analog gauge (or almost as fast).

Idk....I'm 5'11" and I always put my seat to lowest position; never to the highest 🤷‍♂️
If you want to sit/perch that high buy a bigger vehicle
🤣

Solution, upgrade to a Badlands or Outer Banks. No problem seeing the temp or fuel gauges.
This is with the steering wheel in its highest position.

If you're sitting so high that it's messing with seeing the temp and fuel gauges, how is the steering wheel not blocking seeing the other gauges? It only goes so high and moving it closer or farther from you doesn't do much.
You did test drive one right ?
If that was my view I would have chosen another vehicle.
Trade it in or sell it outright, I doubt you will loose much.
I am 5’ 11” and got my seat pumped up 75% of the way to the upper limit.
I have a full view of all my gages.

Yes. I have no problems. I'm just trying to figure out hoe tho OP can be sitting so high that it messes with his view of the temp and fuel gauges but it doesn't affect him seeing the other gauges through the steering wheel.

If his seat is down all the way and that’s the view we’re talking 6’6” or more.

In his OP he said he sets the seat all the way up.

Almost every vehicle I've ever owned has had this issue
Years ago
New Ford Ranger company truck
Boss filling out Ford questionnaire
"Kong, are you using the shift indicator light for shifting?"
No
*Boss cops an attitude, seems a little peeved*
"Well why not?"
Steering wheel, Boss
It's right in the way
Vehicles are set up for the average height (M) 5'9" (F) 5'4"
Boss 5' 6" on a good day

I'm 6'1". Longer in the torso.

Here's with my seat all the way up and back. Steering wheel all the way up. Camera lens at eye level.

View out the front. You wouldn't be able to see traffic lights.

The seat adjustment is there to make your driving position better which includes your view out of the windows as well as the instruments on the dash. Just cranking it up as high as it will go and then complaining that the view you made for yourself does not suit you doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

No offense but, I don't think it's the vehicle that has the issue.

*Outer Banks* differs
No offense taken
My issue is self created
Comfort level max at max seat height
Plenty of other factors at play
Steering wheel distance / height
Pedal reach
Issue
Dash should calculate and encompass ALL ranges of positions and angles
It's a small task

Yes and no. As you can see in my pics, I can put the seat all the way up with no problems viewing the gauges. Cars are built around the average size of people. Some people fall outside the upper and lower ranges of these averages. Unfortunately, they are the ones that have to adapt.
