2022 Ford Bronco Sasquatch pkg
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and just purchased a 2022 2-door Bronco with the Sasquatch pkg. I got it on Friday 4-29, drove it home then to work on Monday. Overall about 60 miles. I did notice over the weekend that the lights would come by themselves. We found a post here to put the switch on off and it seemed to work - Thanks to all on that. On Tuesday 5-3, on my way to work, the charging system service light came on 4 times. I looked online to see what it meant and immediately called the dealer (around 7:00am) the guy wasn't sure what to do so he said he would call back. At 10:30am i got a message "DO NOT Drive it, Call Roadside Assist" with a phone #. The # was in Canada and I'm in Houston. I finally got he right number and they said it would be about 45 minutes. Long story short, this went on until 3:00 when someone finally showed up to get my vehicle. Not sure if anyone is familiar with Houston but there are usually 2 or 3 wreckers sitting at every intersection waiting for someone to tow. SO the Bronco has been at the dealership for 10 days now - they say (when I call them)that it is a pinched wire and they are working on it. I should have realized something was wrong when during the prep they broke the rear window defogger and said they would need to order a new one. I am extremely disappointed and do not understand why it would take so long to fix a brand new car. i really like the way it drove during the 60 miles that I actually was able to drive it but I am concerned that it is going to be jinxed going forward. Has anyone else had such a horrible experience with Roadside Assist or had a wiring issue fixed? Just curious if the vehicle is as good as new or in this case better than new when you got it back? If so, how long did it take for them to fix it? Sorry this has been such a long post but a lot has happened in a week.

Wrong forum. You have the full size Bronco. This is the Bronco Sport forum.

They may have more technical answers as to the wiring than what you might find here.
Sadly I’ve been reading a few threads lately though where it seems dealers do take a long time to be able to fix vehicles. I’m not sure necessarily why. I know when I had to have the heater replaced in my explorer, the issue was waiting on parts rather than waiting on service tech availability, so that shouldn’t be the case with your issue.
I do wish you all the best with it! It sux for a brand new car. But that is what warranty is for, even if we think we should never have to use it.
