I haven’t seen this here. Cheep little changing room from Ford parts. It has a privacy screen to put up in the bronco and just clips to the wheel well and the roof rack. Got it for the kids to use at beach etc to change and what not. Seems like good quality. Comes w stakes if your going to be anywhere for a while day or something.

I have seen that before on a badlands model I found online. Was a dealer added option. Never seen it in person.

Two concerns; firstly wind. If all sides are not secure at a windy location the privacy thing might fail; secondly, the front window isn't blacked out and I can't imagine that it has a flap inside the cargo area, would block all the light you need to see what your doing, so wouldn't someone in front of the sport see through the car to the person covered by the screen? Seats can't block the entire thing or you couldn't see out the back window.

I'm really surprised there aren't many discussion in the forum about this privacy screen. It is a great idea! I've searched all over internet and came across that Ford actually has a patent on this. For those who go surfing or biking or whatever when you want to get in/out your gears or dirty/wet clothes quickly. this is way better than trying to change in the back seat or with a wrap towel. I would use this every week once or twice.

so... I didn't realized it needs to hook on to the roof rack?!! and why I couldn't order it with moon roof option?? doe it take long to setup??

I've thought of trying to build one myself before that would install on any SUV rear lift gate. just need something like a shower curtain and rack. of course...there are pop-up small changing tent out there that might be easier to setup.

This tent like thing always struck me as being a great alternative to full size SUV type ground tents. I’d think this would work great if you were car camping overnight as well? Sleeping in the back of the car, but with just a bit more space out the tailgate. I suppose though it’s probably just a screen so not great for use in any kind of inclement weather.

My Badlands has lights built in to the hatch. I’m not sure if that’s standard on all models but I thought it was. OP said it has a screen that goes in the bronco. Maybe I’m misinterpreting that but hopefully they will clarify. We are also interested and concerned about it being open to the cabin. edit……just read the date. You probably know that by now.

so...I got one of these through Ford while there is a 20% off sale.

It is a good idea to start with but I think they can easily make some improvements:
The top portion of the fabric that goes over the entire rear hatch door is not necessary at all. (the portion I crossed out in red). in fact, it is likely to create some micro scratches on the hatch. All it needs are longer strap that goes from the corner to the roof rack (shown in blue below)

In fact, the direction should just say secure on to the roof rack first and then open the rear hatch then proceed putting the corner pocket to the corner of the rear hatch.

But...I'm not good with a sewing machine or I'd cut that portion of the unnecessary fabric off.

I'm thinking if I move my basket a little further back, I could easily put a sunshower bag on the basket and route the hose through the opened rear hatch window and have a quick rinse off.

'cus this is really expensive compare to the $80 privacy screen

My only thought on the scratches is once you start any type of trail riding scratches are inevitable. I ordered Hot pepper red. And I am not looking forward to that first trail ride. But Life is short So a sctratching I will go:shock:. However carefully and slowly lol.

Indeed, pin striping is gonna happen sometime unless we have two rotary blades in the front corners.

I just got one for $100. I haven’t used it yet but I will let you know how it goes. I’ll be sleeping in the car and wanted a changing room and a space for a pee bucket at night.
