CarPlay options

I haven't gotten that deep into CarPlay so not able to help with settings. Could it be different versions of iPhone IOS. I am still running version the latest version of IOS 18 even though I know IOS 26 is available. Maybe different setting availability depends on IOS version.

I'm sure there's a setting somewhere within iOS that will resolve this for me. Gotta find out which setting and where it lives, then figure out if/how it got changed, if that's really what happened.

It just goes to show ya, it's always something - usually a nit that drives you crazy.

I think sometimes when IOS automatically updates some settings get changed. I think I have seen that happen for other settings.

Just leave my options set the way that I set them, thank you.

In my 23 badlands I added a usb dongle for wireless Car play. It audibly reads back my text messages, and enables Siri to respond.
