Cargo LED question

Wassup....is there a way to have the cargo led lights on the hatch come on automatically?

the cargo led lights on the hatch are controlled by a switch on the left side of the cargo area

One way to have the cargo led lights on the hatch come on when the rear hatch is opened is to re-wire: … remove the left side and right side panels in the rear area, disconnect the cargo led lights on the hatch from the switch and connect the cargo led lights on the hatch to the light on the right side panel which does come on when the rear hatch is open.

I don’t know for sure what else turns on the light on the right side panel and I don’t know if the light on the right side panel wiring (and associated fuse) can drive the additional load for the cargo led lights on the hatch

What year do you have? Our 2023 has a switch in front and when it's on, the LED lights come on and shuts off when you open or close the hatch. There is a separate switch in the cargo area that turns on the the cargo lights

sorry I see you have a 2025.

We have the 25 OB....I will look into that switch...otherwise we just di it manually
