When driving with cruse control occasionally receive an icon looks like a starting wheel appears on instrument panel and then disappears. No indication why I receive this icon and it is not in the manual? I would like to know why I receive this message error.

I get that when I am on cruise and my 360+ loses track of the road. It turns off the driver assist which means I have to start actually driving :D . It also sounds a chime that sounds like the seatbelt reminder.

To edit …. Tap the three dots by the Report tag at the bottom of your message and then tap Edit on the drop down menu. You only see the three dots on your own posts.

Its for the lane centering option ( only on when on cruise and can see the lanes) on co-pilot 360+. lane departure ( keeps you from drifting across the centerline ) is a different button as well, you have both. I believe lane departure button is on the left stick behind the steering wheel and lane centering is on the steering wheel on the left by the cruise control. you can turn them both off with out going into setting on screen.

It is when the steering assist temporarily does not read the lines for lanes to keep you centered. Our Explorer does the same thing. Hope that this helps.

Are you sure there is no accompanying text displayed on the screen above? I sometimes see this on the wife's Escape (it has CoPilot 360+ with adaptive cruise and lane centering), but it's usually accompanied by a notification that reads, "Lane Centering Assist Not Available."

According to the manual (see pg 204 in the 2021 manual), this message means "conditions exist preventing the system from being available." It could be a blocked camera, low visibility, faded lane markings on the road, etc.
