I just got my '23 OBX. I used some of my Ford points to purchase the OEM bumper protector from Ford. I live in Syracuse, NY. My garage is heated but only maintains a temperature of 50 Degrees F this time of year. Should I wait for warmer weather to install the bumper protector or is 50 Degrees warm enough?

The bumper protector has very good adhesive. But I think I would wait until the temps are above 60 degrees. 60 degrees is on the low side for many paint protection films, different product yes but temperature effects the material itself and the adhesive.

Yep I agree with Nick to wait it out for warmer temperatures. ☝

I also agree on waiting for the temp to warm up a bit before installation.

I wonder why Ford didn't install the bumper protector at the factory. Next to the interior plastic surfaces the factory bumper covers have to be the crappiest plastic devised, the covers are very easily scuffed or scratched.
