I am somewhat conflicted, I do not do
A lot of heavy off roading
Was thinking of getting the badlands
Model, but a dealer had in stock in desert
Tan bronco sport with the black diamond
Package I have a ford certificate and with some other incentives I can get 4500 off the price of the posted sticker
Which is about 35500
It’s a 2025 year model
On a side note I am currently a Maverick
Truck owner
Thanx

A Big Bend with the Black Diamond package gives you a lot of bang for the buck. What are you not getting? The 2.0L and its added tow capacity, twin-clutch rear "locker", HOSS suspension, some added underbody protection, and a few other bits & bobs.

Now, remembering that you'll be on road 90%-plus of the time, you're also missing some of the creature comforts of the Outer Banks and Badlands (mostly power seats and the like). That being said, even the Big Bend is a step up in that category from the Maverick. Probably on a par with the Lariat trim to a degree, or at least the XLT.

Your definition of heavy off-roading may differ from others, but it will get you down most forest roads with no problem. You could still have a lot of fun, and even haul a small teardrop into the woods for a weekend.

Head to the Ford site and look at the feature set of the trims and see if there's anything you can't do without on higher trim levels.

love my bronco big bend with Black Diamond packages. Not doing any serious off road but for a little bronco it gives it a good run. Gas milage is great
