Broke down 2x

We have a 2021 Bronco Sport. 2x within 2 months the car just stopped. First time the dealer said it was the battery. This past time they said it’s the starter. This is almost paid off. We can trade it in for a new edge on a 3 year lease. Would anyone agree we should dump the sport or is there value in owning the car within a year, as long as there isn’t another problem?

Well if you've lost faith in the vehicle I wouldn't keep it but that's just me. If you want the Edge and can get good value now then go for it. Obviously there is value in owning the car because you won't have a payment. Were the repairs covered under warranty? Do you have an extended warranty on it?

These were covered but only because of the first recall and then the 2nd problem was very similar. Didn’t get the extended warranty. We like the sport but concerned these and more problems may occur.
