What is the best lift kit for a BS Badlands? At least locally all they had offered me is for Big Bronc' not for the BS. 1-2 inches will be enough. Any help? Have you experienced any problem with yours? Any advice will be appreciated.

Bamsi:

I went with the Ford Ranger Lifts 1.75" Lift Kit for the Bronco Sport. I can honestly say that it is the best addition I have yet added (and there are many) on my Bronco Sport.

It not only lifted the vehicle, it changed the way it looked (more rugged/capable), and it changed the way it handled on the road.

In that regard it has a more refined almost air cushion type ride than it did belofe.

Additionally, if you are going to off road, the biggest hinderance of the Bronco Sport is its ground clearance. A lift will greatly help with that.

Right now on my Badlands with the Ford Ranger Lifts and the JCR Skid Plates (pretty much everything I could get on the Badlands), I'm running at 9.75" off the ground. I know that others have more clearance, but the Skids "eat" about 2".

Prior to getting the skids I caught many envious looks from Wranglers... not near as many after the skids, but I know I'm more comfortable knowing that I can veer into the unknown with confidence...

Happy Trails my friend...

Subjective question.
The best lift is the one that checks all yout needs.
Depending on budget you can choose from the more common spacer lifts that a number of companies market, HRG and Ford Ranger lifts are popular, 4WP also offers a spacer lift. Eibach offers a spring lift, Flatout and Rough Crountry offer complete suspension change overs. The only lift that had unfavorable initial reviews was the Rough Country spacer lift, caused by improper installation.

I have a Badlands, The best thing to do is change the tires if yours doesn't already have the Wildpeak tire option.

I'm doing well with the lift kit from Eibach,.food price, it works with the OE shocks and lift 1" in the front and 0.7" in the rear.
