Starting at 5:45 in this dashcam video you can see a white Badlands swerve around the last car in a line stopped in the right lane of an Interstate highway. The car behind it wasn't able to avoid a crash. Since the cars were stopped for a few seconds before the Badlands arrived on the scene its driver must have been eyes down. I wonder if the collision warning system fired off before the swerve?

Be careful out there folks...

That was very controlled. Hard to tell if just a good driver or collision avoidance kicked in. For those interested, the moment mentioned is at 5:36.

Wow nothing quite like watching the whole thing. I swear driving is getting much worse & wonder if I don’t really need front/back cams now. My neighbor swears by them, as it’s never the other driver’s fault until you can provide the proof.

Watching kinda makes me feel glad to be stuck at home recovering from surgery. Wonder what else I could have worked on??

Given how my collision avoidance warning kicks in quickly when I'm coming up on someone in my lane that's turning off my lane, when I'm not actually that close to them, I'll say yes, his definitely did. :)
