Took a trip on Castle Hot Springs Road this morning (east to west) to see if I could get the BS a little dirty, and was not disappointed. Didn't get any pix for a number of reasons, but I'll justify that by saying you should experience it for yourself first-hand. Plus, there's thousands of photos and vids available on it already.
It's been worked on over the years (we even passed a grader cleaning up a section during the drive) to the point that nearly anything with better clearance than a Ferrari can cover it easily. There were only a couple short sections of single-width track.
I only made two adjustments for it: aired down to 20 psi for ride quality, and went to Slippery Mode because there was a little understeer in the hairpins and the sudden inclines and declines needed a little softer throttle response. None of the other G.O.A.T. modes were needed in any way.
It totaled ~27 miles off-pavement, and took about 2 hours end to end. Almost no traffic (it was a Tuesday, after all), and lots of great scenery. Difficulty level of 1 with short sections approaching 2. I should note that several sections are through Arizona State Trust Land, and a permit is required: https://azland.my.salesforce-sites.com/recreationalpermit/
