Just wanted to share for anyone that might be interested ... kinda waiting on adding any suspension mods and didnt want to spend $$ on tires if im going to size up in a few months but not wanting street tires....
So i with little info etc i went ahead and just ordered some armstrong trutrac ats - came in at right around 415 dollars for all four.. so far (with about 1k miles) pretty pleased.
Havent done any actual "offroading" but i do live in the middle of nowhere in south Texas which on road here is likely similar to some folks "offroad"
Feel great on wet roads. Handle well on dirt roads, caliche. Tread is deep and decent pattern. There is a slight road noise .. but it isnt obnoxious or intrusive .. just a quiet hum . Overall pretty pleased for a low cost option..
They have a pretty serious warranty - 60k miles, 6 year, roadside etc which is something worth noting... come in 225/65 and 235/65 and are budget friendly.
Qnyway. Just thought id give my thoughts/ experience etc so far
