Does your limited have carpet floor?
No. But I did take the rubber mats from my previous rides, which were carpeted. The mats fit the same.

So what is the difference between the carpet mats and rubber floor mats?

I am guessing the bottoms are different as that is the only logical thing I can think of. Maybe one is smoother for a rubber on rubber and one is not to grab the carpet better.
But I’m just hypothesizing.

edit: and mine did come with carpeted mats. I let them in the back and laid my mats over them. I could not do this in the front because it would not be able to snap.

So for those of us that have carpet with no passenger side post, which set of rubber mats would we get, -AA, -AB, or -BA? Cheers!

It appears some just don't come with the anchor for the passenger side and some do, not sure why. I went to my dealer today so they could look at it and also pickup the rubber floor liners that I ordered, the ones for the carpet flooring (Part No: MP1Z7813300AB). They weren't entirely sure why mine didn't have the anchors for the passenger side but said they contacted Ford. The dealer offered to install them for free and they indeed didn't have any button on the liners to snap down into an anchor. They seem to fit fine, and ultimately that was all I was concerned about. My dealer also said they could order an anchor part for them to install if I wanted. But it appears these specific liners should work without the anchors.

The guy at the parts department ordered Part No: MP1Z7813300AB for my carpet floor. Those were the ones they put in my vehicle today. They appear to work without a button to snap down into an anchor.

I thought there were two different all weather rubber floor mats one for carpet floor and one for rubber floor?

There are. BroncoS56 has the carpet floors, which is what I had. Thus the all weather that end in AB. In my Heritage Limited, I have all weather/rubber floors but I lazily used the same ones as they fit fine to me.

I have 23 obx. Have carpet floors and carpet mats from factory. I ordered today through 3rd party the oem with the grabbers on the bottom for the carpet ( since i did not see that available on ford website) I looked today and my passenger side has no snaps. I wasn't concerned about the passenger side not having the snap because I know they're on the driver side to keep the mat away from the pedals. The picture of what I ordered doesn't show a snap on passenger side. I hope the mat and my passenger floor match

So Ford has two sets of rubber mats for the 3 cylinder trims? One with button hole and one without? Thats what it sounds like?

Yes, these are the ones that I have. I guess those snap buttons are not necessary for the passenger side. It's interesting because some apparently have the carpet flooring and the snap buttons and anchor for the passenger side.
