I never liked the OEM engine cover from Ford and now it has been discontinued. Has anyone heard of an aftermarket option (or one under deveopment)? Years ago, I purchased a 2005 Mustang GT and the aftermarket cover options were fantastic!

No but I checked recently for someone for the 2.0L engine cover and with all parts and shipping was about $85 from several online Ford parts stores. And was in stock. Where have you looked so far?

All links to any Ford parts sites have it listed as discontinued now. Can’t find it anywhere.

I checked several Ford dealers and online sellers and couldn’t find any in stock. I’m honestly hoping for something better than the OEM cover.

Wow all out of stock!! I was told you can order for the ford escape 2.0L (different part #) but is identical engine cover. You might see if that works (won’t help Stustang05 who wants better than OEM).

also need these:
AA5Z-6N958-A Engine Cover Stud $10.99
-W714647-S450B Engine Cover Stud $2.10
-W520201-S450B Lower Track Nut $3.84

I'm waiting for my '23 OBX to come in. It has the 1.5 and no engine cover. I ordered one from the dealer and have it to install when my vehicle arrives. I also wanted a better-looking cover, so I painted the raised letters to make it stand out more. I did the same thing on the 2.0 engine cover on my Edge. Here's the cover I'm going to install on the OBX.
