AEB limitations? (Automatic Emergency Braking)

I’ve never had the audible alarm triggered but the tiny red light comes on occasionally. Usually when someone cuts me off.

Mine went off today. Stopped traffic on the far right lane on the freeway. Traffic was about 25mph.
