A mix of rain, wind, and a loose valet sign at my work ended with this…

Ford air body shop quoted $2400 to repair it, they said they have to paint the entire quarter panel, door, and replace plastic trim. Gotta love it

Note to self, I’ll park my own car and avoid parking near flimsy signs.
i parked the car, not valet. it was just a loose sign in the parking lot. Not really anything that could have been avoided, other than the golf guys picking up their stupid signs when it gets windy.

Some touch up paint or a good off roading “story” and leave it would be my fix. The first scratch is always the worst. That is a ridiculous amount for a repair.

luckily I was able to send pics of it to my regional guy. He’s having the club pay for it so nothing out of pocket for me. I do have a $500 deductible but didn’t want to go through making a claim.
Sometimes it doesn’t hurt to ask lol
