Hi im new here. I just got one month ago 2023 Bronco Sport Outer Banks. it comes with 225/60R18, i had Ford Escape and i have Winter tires Blizak WS90 with 4K miles on them but they are 235/55R17. My question is is there going to be a problem if I use the old tires on the Bronco? I know the speedometer will be off, I used this site to see the difference: https://tiresize.com/comparison/

My question is is there other issues that can occur? I google possibele issues and some people says that the ABS on the tires can be a problem? Thank you in advance for your help!

I don't think there will be a problem with going with a smaller tire. I went with larger and wider tires on my O.B. and did not see any change in the accuracy of the speedometer. Maybe it self compensated??? Don't know. I did notice when I had to use the donut spare tire that the car automatically disengaged the all wheel drive because of one tire not matching. It still drove fine until I got to the local tire shop. Nice ride. Mine is a '21 with almost 30K miles on it.

I carried around a set of tire chains for my ā€˜17 Escape, but never used them. The Stealer who sold me my ā€˜23 Badlands assured me there wouldn’t be a problem putting them on the new vehicle, so I didn’t dig them out and check until yesterday.

?

Guess what?
