Using a snatch block will reduce the overall weight of the vehicle. Run the winch thru the block back to you car, this way the full weight is on anchor point.

A snatch block doesn't reduce the pull on the hitch. It reduces the pull on the cable and winch by doubling the cable between the vehicle and the winch. The pull on the hitch remains the same. You can do the same thing with a block and tackle, which increase the pull strength of a winch by 2x for every pulley wrapped in the block and tackle. What you are effectively doing is pulling twice as long at half the power in each pulley wrap. Regardless of how many pulley wraps the force needed at the anchor points remains the same.
