Front skid/bumper plate removal on 2025 BS. I'm trying to build/modify the "Nudge Bar" on my 2025 BS. Partially because I didn't like how it blocked the Bronco lettering on the front grill and also wanted more protection for the front end and the ability to easily add auxiliary lighting.
Decided to go ahead and tackle removing the gray metal plate on the front bumper. Wasn't hard to do at all if you have the right tool which is a TP40 mm, that's Torx Plus! If you have the front license plate like I do there are four bolts behind the license plate along with four on each corner of the tow hooks.
I went ahead and removed one of the tow hooks to see how hard it was. Wasn't too bad It took a 15 mm socket and my torque wrench as they are torqued in pretty hard. I have to say that it is well built cuz it's bolded into the frame (unibody)!
I might fabricate my own front brush guard or research any aftermarket front grill guards that are manufactured for a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport.
