The mirror is two mirrors in one. Let’s look at a manual dimming mirror with a lever at the bottom of the mirror. When the lever is pushed forward, the mirror is in the normal mode. To put the mirror in dimming mode, the lever is pulled towards the driver.
In either mode, the mirror can be adjusted by the diver by rocking the mirror to change the mode from normal to dimming.
For your mirror, adjust the mirror during daylight to be in normal view.
