Obviously very strange vehicle behavior, your camping situation isnt really any different than having the vehical parked anywhere even at your home.
Some of your other electrical issues I have experienced with my own Badlands, it was getting to the point that the vehicle couldnt be trusted.
Initially I was able to reduce the number of electrical issues (warning messages) of various systems not available and random stalling, dash lighting up like a Chritmas tree by removing the battery cables and cleaning the battery terminals then reseating the cable clamps and torqueing them, I originally noticed the cable clamps were not very tight to begin with.
That "fix" lasted over a year, then at around 19k miles I started having random no start situations, I could start the BS normaly, go to the grocery store, come out and the BS would not start, I could jump start the BS and it would start normaly for a couple weeks then randomly would not start
The auto start stop wouldnt work, the message would always be not available vehicle charging.
I took the Badlands to the dealer 3 times to have these issues addressed, the response was everything is functioning normaly.
The 3rd time I said I dont want the BS back until its fixed, the dealer replaced the battery under warranty and I have not had any electrical issues since. The original battery was a FoMoCo lead acid battery, it was replaced with a Motorcraft AGM battery.
Hopefully they will figure out what is going on with your Badlands sooner rather than later.
