I think the big bend model with the part time awd system has only one motor or actuator. If yours has the dual clutch RDU, it could have two. Might need to check with your dealer which one it is. There is a TSB as stated earlier by Dude. SSM 51117. If yours is from that production date, you should get a replacement under warranty.

Got the BS back from the dealer today. Issue is a faulty RDU actuator. They told me its covered by warranty and in the meanwhile I can't use any goat mode. There is a TSB for some of these units. Code from the dealer says they got a low voltage reading from the actuator on the RDU. Special part ordered to factory. Need to wait up to 25 business days for it to be delivered. Checked on certain websites on the US and the RDU appears as a single part however the RDU is sold as an entire unit.
TSB is SSM 51117 for reference and it seems to affect some 2019-2022 ford vehicles including the Bronco Sport
@Ford Motor Company I would like to know if it is ok for me to continue using my Bronco Sport, meanwhile I wait for the part to arrive to my local dealer for replacement. Will it damage my vehicle if I use it with the warning about the 4WD system disabled?

You should ask your servicing dealership this question.

I did. They told me it was ok but I heard a light clunk this morning when I was slowing down. Not sure if it is the PTU engaging the RDU that is disabled or is it normal?

It's not really possible to diagnose noises in a forum like this. A clunk can be anything from a suspension problem to something rolling around in the back. Again, this kind of question should go to your servicing dealer. If you're at all concerned about damaging your vehicle by continuing to drive it then get that recommendation in writing. One way to do that is to send your question to your service rep via email.

Update: got the RDU motor replaced. Part arrived to the local dealer after 10 days of waiting. "knocking on wood" everything seems to have been sorted out. The DTC codes are gone and it seems the coupler noise is gone. A shout out to the local dealer who has been really helpful on solving the issues my BB has had this last 2 years! @Ford Motor Company
