Gia, Same thing happened to my Son's Bronco Sport, 2021, they bought it at 86,000 miles and within 8 months of purchasing it from a Reputable Dealership, Mt View @ 153, The same symptoms, The dealership said the Transmission had failed and $9800.00 to repair. Took it to a Transmission shop that is very well known and trusted and just got it back, $10,000. They totally rebuilt it and said it was destroyed inside. I am Sick!
REPORT TO NHTSA!!! Save receipts and if Ford issues recall they will reimburse you!

So anyone else having problems with 2021 Bronco Sports and transmission issues??? Bought my car Dec 2021, roughly 80k miles on it. While driving on the highway my car decided to punk out on me. It would not go while on drive. It was jolting and tugging. I tried to park the car and it was saying the car was not in park and would not allow me to turn off the vehicle. I had to get the vehicle towed to the dealership the next day. Ive been told its the transmission and I need a new one! 8k. Am I missing something?? The vehicle has been serviced regularly. I am having a hard to understanding how a BRAND NEW vehicle could have a transmission issue????
So you put 80,000 miles on it in almost 3 years how would that be a Brand New Vehicle? And a guy on here bought his wife a Brand-New Hyundai Santa Fe and the transmission went out in 5 weeks. So Ford isn't the only company having transmission problems.

I bought my '23 OBX w/16.5K miles on 12/24/24 - below shows the service to prep sale. Ist owner female, bought in Santa Barbara, mint condition, ppf, ceramic exterior & interior, nothing aftermarket, original tires. Ownership, location, condition & service history speaks for a commuter car, rarely driven at highway speeds, California commuter bumper traffic, stop n go, looooong idleing on/off ramps, cone zones & collisions. Same driving ritual killed my audi tt, volvo s60, rdx & rav4. I repaired 2 craked heads and both failed within 1 yr. Ironically, covid reset to wfh office is a lifesaver. Nonetheless my OBX fluids will be changed/flushed every 30k. Further below shows trans. cooler planned
