100,000 miles, needed new alternator and spark plugs

Yeah, I have the 110v outlets so maybe that was a factor.
Regardless, I’ll be avoiding the dealer from now on and hitting the forum for advice. Thank you all for the feedback…makes me grumpy to know I could’ve spent $50 and a YouTube and done it myself instead of $400 for the plug change, but what can you do. I was concerned about the alternator getting repaired and not even thinking I would be run through the mill with a simple (in my mind) plug change

It would be interesting to see the actual cost breakdown for your sparkplug replacement.
Unless other parts were also replaced like a sparkplug coil or the boots and then there are also the miscellaneous shop charges added on.

For people that say they can do the job in 15 minutes, most auto repair business's including dealers go by book time, if book time says 2 hours but it only takes them 1/2 hour to do the job, you will still pay for 2 hours labor, some independents may cut you a deal, dealers usually not unless there are other circumstances involved you may get lucky and get a break.
