Hi all - first post here. Finally getting after some mods after driving a BS OB stock for a couple of years.
I'm looking to install a 1.5" lift kit for some extra ground clearance (and admittedly looks). I'm currently between the ReadyLift SST and the HRG Offroad. Believe the $100 price difference between the two is due to the 4x rear subframe spacers included with the HRG kit.
My question is how necessary are these spacers, given I'm doing a relatively minimal 1.5" lift? It seems the purpose of these is to counteract changes in factory geometry (driveshaft, control arms, CVs, etc), but I was under the impression this plays a larger role, the larger the lift.
Note that I'll of course be getting an alignment after the lift kit install and that my use case is light off-roading + my daily driver.
Open to hearing any recommendations as well - TIA.
