Loved my BS, but because I am a retired UAW member I was always bothered by the fact it wasn't union made, last week I purchased a new Explorer. I understand most people may think that a strange reason but, not for me.

Last Friday I drove over Wolf Creek Pass in Colorado. At approximately 1/3 0f the way up [ heading west} it was blizzard conditions, I shifted into slippery mode and made it without issue, other than thinking I might need to get the steering wheel regripped.:shock:

Living in Iowa and seeing all kinds of weather I chose the OB for it's standard upgrades and added the options for stereo and safety.

How do they compare on noise?

I always keep a torch tip cleaner in my tool box, may work for this and you may be surprised how many uses you can find for it.

Can't outrun a radio.

The other day I got in and started my BS and the radio was on full volume and very distorted. I was able to turn it down but, distortion remained, after cycling and checking settings it returned to normal. I am the only operator of this vehicle, has anyone else had a similar experience? thanks

Hands free lift gate, a front camera would be a plus, and some wheel options.

Does the engine cover help with sound deadening or is it just cosmetic? I don't hava a noise issue just curious. thanks.

My order was confirmed 8-5-22, was told 11-21 then, 11-28 then, 12-19, now 12-12, maybe heading in the right direction.
